Automatic configuration using a VPN start script

This variant uses a VPN start script, which is setting up all necessary routes and checks the needed programs and program versions, to connect to the pptp with our without encryption.

Manual configuration using ppp peers files

The provided script (above) should work in most cases. The pppd peers file, that is provided here, can be used to start a connection automatically (for ex. using Ubuntu/Debian). The connection should also show up within the network manager after a restart.

Configuration using the network manager

The configuration using the network manager is working under most linux distributions. The only thing missing when using this variant is a network route into the internal PadNet, which is necessary for some services.
