If you send an e-mail concerning a problem with the Internet connection, please always include the following information, so that we can help efficiently:

  • always include the network configuration (see below)
  • detailed error description with full error message (if possible including screenshots)
  • full name
  • address (street, building number and city)
  • room number
  • number on the network socket (if available)
  • user name of Internet connection (user ID of PadNet account) (if known)
  • time of the problem (ex: 03/28/2011 at 18:37:23)
